Molo Mansion: Mansion Turned Into Historic Gem

Molo is one of the seven districts of Iloilo City and has many cultural landmarks and one of them is the the Yusay-Consing Mansion, popularly known as the Molo Mansion. The mansion has been turned into heritage museum.

The Yusay-Consing Mansion was built in the 1920s. The first resident was Doña Petra Lacson who married Manila’s judge of the Court of First Instance, Estanislao Yusay.The family is said to possess and have power over the Molo district at that period of time. The Mansion was left in a such poor state until it was saved and turned into a heritage museum.
