Oriental Mindoro is a great province with such wonderful people. To visit all these wonderful places, we needed a place to stay. We stayed at bunch or resorts but the first resort we stopped by was at the Southdrive Beach Resort. It is a budget hotel but its not your regular budget hotel.

I just admire the beach view with a small beach cottage facing the beach. It’s a great view that I waited for the sun to rise up so I can take an awesome photo. The beach was just great complete with a volleyball beach court

We had two beds in our rooms. I did not take any photos since I wanted to focus on the view. The beds aren’t bad for a budget hotel and the room was quite spacious. The bathroom was acceptable since they had a hot shower. There was no shower curtain or toothpaste available so make sure to bring your own. They did provide soap though and the air-conditioner was ice-cold. The only downside at that time was that there was no WiFi available and the signal was quite bad. However, I had a great time at this place since I had a chance to walk around a bit, enjoy the view and their customer service was great.

I wasn’t able to completely visit the entire area since we had a whole itinerary to finish but check out their website and I’m sure you’ll like it here. Will I come back? Definitely! 🙂

Pros: Amazing view especially during the morning and friendly customer service

Cons: Mobile Signal is bad for Globe users. Smart is acceptable
