Urban Lights of Los Angeles, USA

I visited LA (Los Angeles just recently. The last time I was in LA was probably 9 years ago, and I never had a chance to see this place.  You probably heard of the Urban Lights at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) from the movie “No Strings Attached”. I just needed to go to this place and see what the fuss was about. It’s a beautiful site to behold and you can take many photos as you like. The only downside that you’re not allowed to have tripod.  You can tell the guard that you just want to take photos or videos or better yet have one of the visitors take photos of you.

The best thing about the Urban Lights is that it has free admission and it’s open to the public. There is a public WiFi but it barely connects. If you’re a tourist, the nearest free WiFi place would be at Starbucks which is like around 9 blocks away from LACMA. If you’re not familiar with LA, it’s best to take Uber or Lyft.

I visited the Urban Lights in the afternoon since I was coming from Phoenix, Arizona. It looks really great during the day but I think I prefer taking photos at night as the lights are all turned on. It’s best to visit the Urban Lights around 6:30PM-7:00PM. This is a great place for couple photos as well. Just need to warn you about the LA traffic. 🙂
