I’m a huge crime junkie and I watch TV shows such as Fatal Vows and Crimes That Shock The World on Crime Investigation Channel. It’s one of my favorite past times to watch documentaries and I wanted to test my own crime investigation skills.

What is an escape room?

An Escape Room or Escape Game is a mental, physical and interactive game concept where players are placed inside a room with a particular situation or theme. The players should find a way and be able to get out of the room by finding clues, hints, and riddles to solve puzzles, open locks,and boxes.

You get to unravel the crime and try to solve unsolved mysteries with these awesome and yet challenging rooms!

You have the Mysterious Castle, the Creepy Carnival, the Abandoned School, the Hidden Museum and The Cabin In The Woods.

How to play?

• You choose the escape room that you want and which level would be suitable for you and your group
• You will be blindfolded! You will have no idea on the room will look until you enter the escape room.
• You will be given to fanny packs. One with items that you will need to help you solve the crime escape. The other fanny pack will have tokens that you can you use to ask for help if you can face a challenge that you can’t solve
• No outside help! So no phones or gadgets. You just have your tokens!

I personally enjoyed the Creepy Carnival. It was quite challenging but we managed to escape. We had to go through dozens of locks and problems.

Tips:

• Just be patient
• Try to open the locks but try not to break anything
• Learn to use your tokens wisely. You’ll never know when you might need it!

I had a great time here. There were also a bunch of nice cold drinks that you can and cool off! Once you’re done with your escape, you not only get to take great photos: you also get an awesome I-Detective key chain! Not only that, if you beat and escape the room quick enough, you get to be on the I-Detective Leaderboard! Check that out on your visit there!
