Bubbles Crispy Pata & Restaurant: Hidden Food Treasure In Quezon Province

The Philippines has a large number of delicious food to its menu but a must-try is the Crispy Pata. I have to share that the best Crispy Pata that I had so far is in Bubbles Crispy Pata and Restaurant in Lucena City. You’re probably wondering about what makes this place so different when we have a lot of restaurants in Manila?

The restaurant is right to Perez Park so there’s no way you can miss it. The restaurant is basically an old house that has been renovated into a restaurant. The place has lots of seats but the only downside is that it has no airconditioning but you should expect that from time to time while you’re in the province.

There were lots of people from all over the Philippines since there was a big event ongoing at the time. It’s time to pick out the meals. Naturally, we had to start with the crispy pata since it’s their main and most talked-about dish in the restaurant.

The crispy pata was not like any crispy pata that I expected. Most crispy pata, although it has the crispy; it’s not crispy but rather hard to eat. You’ll feel that you’re about to lose a tooth. This crispy pata was really soft! I could easily bite through and chew it without ease. You could even cut the crispy pata easily with your fork and knife without using any force or pressure! You can taste the pork and it’s really soft that you’ll feel like you’re eating chicken! I gotta rate this 9/10.

The bangus is just as good! It’s boneless so you don’t have to worry about taking out the fish bones. Let’s just say I finished it completely! Rate: 8/10

Next on the list would be the Laing. I don’t want to get too into this but it’s good that members of our group wanted to them home to Manila! Although, it wasn’t possible since the taste wouldn’t taste the same after a certain period of time

As you already know that I’m allergic to shrimp. Sad life. But according to the people with me that it tasted like it was freshly caught off the sea so I’m assuming it’s good.

The restaurant looks small from the outside but they have three large rooms which accommodate a large number of people. It’s a great place for students, family or even the older generation to come and try some great provincial food. They also got their own buzz button on the wall so you don’t need to go to the counter for any requests. On the downside, outside drinks and food are not allowed. If customers do happen to bring in any outside food or drink; they will be charged for consuming them inside the restaurant.

Overall, it’s a great experience here. Just to add to my blog post; the restaurant is has been numerous Filipino celebrities and PBA stars. They do have some photos on their special wall. I didn’t recognize most of them but I did recognize Joko Diaz on the well. So if you’re in Lucena city, give this place a try. You won’t regret it!
