We arrived at Oriental Mindoro and was I hungry! The short journey managed to get me an appetite and I was already craving for some food. Department of Tourism Region IV-B (MIMAROPA) greeted us and took us at the well-known Vencio’s Garden Hotel and Restaurant.

At this point I was so hungry that I could eat anything. The staff greeted us with huge smiles and got us to this huge table. I was quite surprised since I thought we were all going to have separate tables. We all sat down and we had some delicious Filipino food!

We had Tilipia, fried chicken, crabs, shrimps soup and fruits. If you haven’t been to the Philippines, this is the food that I recommend. I consider the food at Vencio’s as great island food! They have also have great desserts and the place is perfect for family reunions or meetings.

The waitress and waiter started to sing and dance. I did not expect it but they did put in quite a show that I simply had to cheer and clap. At theback of the restaurant, they have something similar to Kamayan sa Palaisdaan like in Tayabas, Quezon province.

Overall it was a great brunch and we’re on our way to our next adventure.
