Get some much-needed space at One Tagaytay Place

I needed a place to relax and some time off to get away from the busy streets of Manila. Working in Manila can really take a toll on you especially when your drive on daily basis. I needed a place to kick back and relax over the weekend. I decided to look online and I found this small but affordable hotel in Tagaytay. I chose Tagaytay for two reasons. One reason is that it just an hour drive depending on traffic from Las Pinas to Tagaytay. The second reason is that is has a nice cool breeze that will cool me off and away from the city life.

Relaxing on the couch

I finally found the hotel through Waze and I didn’t have any trouble finding a parking space. I got up to the hotel and I was greeted by bellman who offered to take my luggage immediately. The front desk was so kind, helpful and without asking; provided me the WiFi.

Enjoying this huge bed!

I went up to the Penthouse suite which was on the top floor of the hotel. I have been to a lot of expensive suites like the Presidential suite in Manila hotel but this one seems so elegant and at the same time; nice.

My room was complete with the Master bedroom along with extra rooms with two comfy big beds for extra people. My favorite part of the Penthouse is my bathroom. It seemed like it was fit for a King with a great bathtub and shower.

This has to be one of my favorite Penthouse experiences since I had a huge balcony which gave me tje perfect view of Tagaytay. But what completed my experience my room experience over here was the swimming pool. It was right next to my room and I could swim there at any time from morning till night.

The other of the living room. I messed the curtains up.

The WiFi was really fast along with their free cable which kept me comfy while I continued to do my work on my laptop. I love that VIP feeling that this hotel has given me.

To stay at the Penthouse suite, it would cost around P18,000 for one night. Pretty reasonable compared to other places that I have been to. A couple of Filipino celebrities have stayed here including Claudine Barreto, Vice Ganda and a couple of PBA players.

Rating for Room: 9/10

Room Service: 10/10 (They respond fast!)

Other Utilities: Free Gym and Rooftop Pool

Tips: They have the 7-Eleven Store and an ATM Machine right in front of the hotel. I found this to be quite useful since it’ hard to find ATM machines in Tagaytay. You can find them usually at the malls. 7-Eleven was quite useful since I was craving for some chips and chocolates so it came quite handy. They also got a great restaurant named “Amacena” Check out my food review by clicking here.
