Gemini Man is one of the most eagerly anticipated movies of the year and I got invited to try out the IMAX theater at EVIA Lifestyle Center. This is the first IMAX theater in Asia and that got me more equally excited. Now let’s get back to the movie! If you’re a Will Smith fan then this a must-see movie for you. Will Smith plays a retired assassin who told tired of killing people and just wants to live a normal life. Unknown to him, his past superiors refuse to let go of such a great procession especially someone that could kill so efficiently. This was the time when the US government namely GEMINI decided to sent someone to kill their favorite assassination to the sensitive information that he holds over the years.

This when Will Smith comes to face with his assassin. A clone that has nothing to lose but his lone goal is to kill the best assassin that government has. To see the younger version of Will Smith gave me flashbacks from his early acting days in the sitcom “ The Prince of Bel=Air”. The special effects team did a great job on his makeover! There are tons of great action scenes in the movie but I have to praise Will Smith’s great acting skills. I have never seen a film where I got to see Mr. Big Willy Style all emotional.

Lots of great action scenes and great laugh scenes with Benedict Wong. I have to commend on the action scenes but the story needs a bit of work. The storyline was fairly predictable. Nevertheless, I would give this movie a 6 or 7 out of 10. Check out the movie for yourself. I suggest to watch it at the IMAX Theater with a laser. The place gave me a lot of thrills.
