Firefly Roofdeck Got The Best Bar Food In Makati

Do you work in Makati and need a place to kick it every Friday night? I got to visit this popping bar called Firefly Roofdeck on top of the City Garden Grand Hotel. This place is packed with good food, drinks, and people!

First of all, I have to start with the place. The place is huge with a great view of Makati city. You can actually feel the wind going through the bar that I felt like I was in a bar in Tagaytay or Baguio City. The place is not dancefloor type of bar but it’s more of place to mellow down and unwind from a hard day of work. It’s also a great place to kick it and stay from Makati city infamous traffic.

Since I’m a burger man, this burger made my freaking night. It wasn’t was I expected but the burger’s patty along with the egg, lettuce and other combinations made this burger a hard meal to resist! The question is; could I finish it? Yes, I could but sharing is caring and this burger can be shared up to four people. You need to the burger into four though. The fries were just as epic. Even though it turned cold, it tasted just right.

I can’t really give a rating but I had to admire the outlook of this meal. I am allergic to shrimps so I can’t really eat this. But based on the other bloggers who were with me; they gave it a rate.

I have eaten and tested a bunch of sisig in the Philippines. It is the meal perfect for a drinking session. My expectations were high on this. The usual standard of eating sisig is to mix the egg along with the sisig pork and then voila! You’re ready. The sisig is just as good. I recommend this with rice though. It will fill up your empty stomach

This pizza made my night! I couldn’t stop eating this. Hot or cold; it tasted just right. The pizza was probably hand-tossed since I could still taste the dough. The meat is perfect with the mushrooms. One of the best meal at Firefly Roofdeck

The epic part of my visit here was the cheesecake to finish off the food that I ate. You can have your name written down on the plate. Just perfect for any Instagrammable moment. The cheesecake made the night for me.

The bar has an amazing skyline view of Makati city. You can choose to be next to the balcony if you’re not afraid of heights. The tables near the balcony seem to light up every second. You can also enjoy the cold breeze and you won’t even feel the traffic congestion way up here!

Overall, I had a great experience here. I enjoyed the hospitality from the staff. They got a great band which sang great OPM songs. Best of all, they got a great bar! More about the bar drinks on my next blog post!
