“Kalituhan,” Gracenote’s latest single with Monty Macalino of Mayonnaise, is a song about a maze, which is full of strange things and makes people feel lost. “Kalituhan” is a song that the band says is about loving someone no matter what. Eunice Jorge, who sings and writes songs, found it easy to write “Kalituhan” by using a maze as a central idea.

E says, “It was a rainy night, and I was lying on my bed with a guitar. The music and words came out at the same time.” It all started with a maze. I was just having fun with comparisons and metaphors. The song was created. “I finished the demo through GarageBand in June 2019.”
“At first, the tempo was a bit faster than it is now. But during pre-production, my band and I decided to slow it down to get the right feel for the song,” she says.
In the end, the band and Monty went to Yellow Room Studio in June of last year to record “Kalituhan.”

And of course, you aspire to be happy together for good – “wag sanang bibitawan sa gitna ng kalituhan / samahan mo ako hanggang dulo,” the artists sing in its chorus.

“Like in a maze, maraming pwedeng daanan, pwedeng magiba ng landas, pero kahit magkalituhan, sana magkita pa rin sa dulo,” Eunice also says.
