Local And International Dishes At Abbiocco Alternative Filipino

I have always loved Filipino food even though I grew up as a third-culture kid. I have tried all types of Filipino food from the streets to the hotels. This time, I got invited to try out some great Filipino cuisine at Abbiocco Alternative Filipino.

Abbiocco is the sleepy feeling you get after a big satisfying meal. You’re probably wondering what makes this restaurant so different from other Filipino restaurants. Well, for one thing, it’s the vibe. It really has this classy and glamor look but at the same time, it’s relaxing. The other would-be customer service. The waiters seem to always be next to the tables. Every time I had a question, they would pop out of nowhere!

Let’s get back to the real deal which is the food in which I was eager to try. There were so many to choose from so I took a little bit of everything. I ordered a lot and I’ll mention some of my favorites!

At Abbiocco Abbiocco Alternative Filipino
Oven Braised Lamb Shank: Tasted just like lamb but with a tender taste. However since it’s delicious, one oven braised Lamb Shank isn’t enough
BBQ back ribs: The third-culture kid came out of me and I had to try the BBQ back ribs. Trust me guys. It tasted really good! It wasn’t burnt or anything like that. It was just right. It was so good that I ordered two of them!
Beef Kaldereta: This is one of my favorites! I don’t know what they put in here but it so addictive!
Pinakbet Con Lechon It just went perfectly with the Pansit. This meal almost filled me with my glass of Coke. One word. Amazing!
Pancit Bihon with Lechon.

Other honorable mentions to the food list here

Paella Valenciana
Abbiocco’s House Pizza
Spicy Filipino Crab (Native Alimango)
George’s Oven Baked Parmesan
Corfit Rib-Eye Salpicao: This is perfect for anyone who loves Pinoy food!

The restaurant also has its VIP room. The room also has a TV and a waiter ready for any order that you make. They also serve many drinks. I would definitely come back here with my family. There seems to be a bit of everything for everyone. So if you got an OFW or family who migrated abroad and wants to try some real homegrown food, this is the place to be
