I have been to a lot of Korean BBQ restaurants in Manila and I have to place Soban K-Town Grill is one of my top five Korean food spots in the Philippines. There is a reason why this place is different and it’s the taste of the meat.

I visited the Soban K-Town Grill branch in BGC and what I like about this place is the coziness of the restaurant. The place is not too cold and the staff was very friendly. They even asked if there is a specific seat that I would like to sit at. I choose the corner with a couple of blogger friends.

They have a great metal exhaust that gives this modern industrial feel to the restaurant. This makes it extra great for Instagram photos and for vloggers. But like I mention before, it’s the food that makes this Korean restaurant different from other Korean restaurants in Metro Manila.

I started with their Samgyupsal. It is a thick-cut European pork belly soaked and aged overnight in our 6 signature marinades. The meat are soaked overnight in any of Soban’s 6 signature marinade: Original, Fruity, Soy Garlic, Honey Spiced, Gochujang, and Black Pepper. Sound delicious right?

Verdict:

The meat is out of this world! It was crispy at the same time not too tender. Compared to most Korean restaurants: the BBQ meat delivered here! Totally a 10/10 rating for me!

The place is perfect for friends, family,and dates!. Trust me, fellas. Your date won’t be disappointed if you took her for some great Korean BBQ at this restaurant! I highly recommend taking the Mega Meat BBQ Set: Php 1000 good for (2) pax. Totally worth it!
