New Normal Hotel Features At Hotel Sogo

Experts believe it will take longer for the world to fully recover from COVID19’s effects. Hotel Sogo prepares for its version of the hotel industry’s “new normal” as the government prepares to ease up after nearly three months of Enhance Community Quarantine.

Once they resume normal operations, Hotel Sogo is taking steps to safeguard the safety and security of its guests and employees against the spread of the Covid19 virus. The employment of ultraviolet (UV) lamps in disinfecting around its facilities will be at the top of its priority list, as will an intensified process from check-in to meal ordering to ensure that their facilities are as clean as possible. UV lamps are extremely successful in disinfection because their beams are capable of killing bacteria, germs, and viruses.

To ensure that its personnel are prepared to serve their customers, Hotel Sogo ensures that they are protected against the virus by giving them vitamins to build their immunity and providing customised PPEs. Staff at Hotel Sogo undergo medical examinations and Covid19 testing to ensure that they are free of the virus, and that the employees, not only the facilities, are in good health and ready to resume normal operations.

Guests do not need to be concerned during their stay at Hotel Sogo because temperature checks, transit through a disinfecting tent, and the use of a disinfecting foot tray are all required.

The provision of hand sanitizers in common spaces, as well as social separation from the check-in procedure through elevator use to their rooms, are tightly enforced. To protect guests and personnel, facilities are renovated and updated, such as adding a glass panel divider on top of the front desk.

Hotel Sogo’s ‘new normal’ video playbook has all of this material. The footage has been shared with relevant government agencies such as the Department of Health (DOH), the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and the Department of Tourism (DOT) in the hopes that it will serve as a benchmark for other comparable enterprises before they reopen.
