Now that the holidays are here, SM Southmall has a Happiness Christmas Factory to celebrate the busiest time of the year. Step into Santa’s futuristic workshop, where his robo-squad “gifts” love to the world through instagrammable displays, a Selfie Room, and a gifting area, all thanks to SM Cares Bears of Joy. The SOS Children’s Village will get a donation for every bear sold. At the center of the production is a 32-foot-tall Christmas tree with hundreds of lights and gears on it. The Happiness Factory is in the Food Street Concourse of the mall.

Shoppers will find more happiness at SM Southmall. Make sure to write these things down on your calendars:

South Yuletide Markets

At the Christmas bazaar, you can buy small gifts and trinkets for your family to take home. Check out the South Yuletide Markets at the Event Center and South Yard during the holidays (near Door 4).

Santa’s Here

Santa and his helpers will be at SM Southmall. On December 24 and 25, from 2 to 5 p.m., you can find Santa by the Christmas centerpiece and the Outdoor Holidrive. Get a special treat if you take a picture!

Take a trip at SM Southmall’s Outdoor Holidrive

Outdoor Holidrive, an immersive Drive-Thru Christmas experience, is coming back to SM Southmall because people asked for it. It will take place at the mall’s West Parking Area from November 4, 2022, to January 8, 2023.

The drive-thru has four main things to see and do. If you drive through Glee Town, the big Christmas displays, friendly toy soldiers, and snowmen are sure to make you smile. The giant dessert displays and happy elves in the Sweet Forest will satisfy the sweet tooth of any Southie. At the Happiness Overload Station, you can find toys, gifts, and smiles. The Light Tunnels are a bright show you won’t want to miss.

You can wave at the Christmas characters from your car, or you can hang out with the crew and try out other things, like the first Donut Slide in the Philippines, Nitrodrift car racing, and more.

The Outdoor Holidrive is free to get into by foot. But each ride and activity has its own cost. For example, the Drive-thru Outdoor Holidrive requires that you buy Php 2,500.00 worth of things between November 4, 2022 and January 8, 2023. Some rides, like the Donut Slide and the Nitrodrift, cost between Php 100 and 150 per turn.
